Liposuction in Denver, CO

At the Denver Liposuction Specialty Clinic, we specialize in body contouring using liposuction, a treatment that removes excess fat from targeted areas of the body to create a more balanced, proportional appearance to the body. Liposuction is a minimally invasive cosmetic surgery procedure. Patients need only local numbing agents. There's no general anesthesia required to perform the surgery.

Liposuction is a popular procedure for people who are frustrated with excess fat deposits in areas of the body that are resistant to diet and exercise. Almost any area of the body can be targeted using liposuction, but the most common areas for which patients seek treatment include the buttocks, thighs, abdomen, hips, upper arms, back, and chin.

Through the combination of VASER and Atraumatic-PAL the following can be achieved:

  • Atraumatic-PAL: (power-assisted liposuction)
    • Delivers the same, profound fat sculpting, but the specialized design of the cannula significantly reduces bruising, pain and swelling since these technologies minimize damage to surrounding lymphatics, veins and small nerves. Traditional liposuction uses traumatic cannulas to remove fat, which result in more damage to surrounding tissue during the procedure.
  • Two-layer (Deep and Superficial)
    • Dual action fat removal technology make it possible to remove twice as much or double the fat removal than regular liposuction.
  • Skin Tightening
    • can be accomplished by placing the VASER right underneath the skin, not possible with regular liposuction without very high risk of deformity. Deformities with skin tightening with the VASER are virtually zero.
Through the combination of VASER and Atraumatic-PAL the following can be achieved:

Liposuction Techniques/Tools

Lipo before and after - 33 year woman

VASER Liposuction is the pinnacle of liposuction and fat grafting technology. VASER Liposuction is a third generation ultrasound liposuction technology developed by Dr. John A. Millard, the founder of Denver Liposuction, who has personally trained the skilled team here to master VASER liposculpting technologies and deliver patients with natural, superior results. Considered to be one of the most significant leaps forward in liposuction technology in the last 30 years, VASER Liposuction has revolutionized the world of body sculpting. VASER is a “lipo-selective” technology, meaning that multiple layers of fat (upper, superficial and deep) are able to be safely and effectively treated. The combination of one, two, or three-ring ultrasound probes and the Vent-X aspirator technology reduce trauma to surrounding connective tissue and lymphatic structures during the fat suction phase. Compared to traditional suction-assisted liposuction, VASER is capable of removing more fat per area and target units of fat between muscle groups. The “Atraumatic cannula” improves safety outcomes and efficacy while the ultrasound waves trigger a “shrink wrapping” effect of the skin for contouring of small packets of fat.

SMART LIPO TRIPLEX Laser-assisted liposuction is another next-generation fat liposuction technology. Over the past two decades, since laser-assisted liposuction was first developed, multiple evolutions and advances of laser technology have culminated in the development of SmartLipo Triplex. SmartLipo Triplex is the best in laser-assisted liposuction technology. With laser-assisted liposuction, adipose tissue is liquefied and removed with less damage to surrounding skin support structures. SmartLipo is another fat reduction technology that offers the dual-benefit of permanent fat-tissue removal simultaneously with skin tightening.

Liposuction and Tummy Tuck

Tummy Tuck Female patient

The abdominal area of the body presents special challenges in cosmetic medicine. So at the Denver Liposuction Specialty Clinic, we offer two very different procedures to achieve customized goals for the abdomen: tummy tuck and liposuction. These two procedures make it possible for us to suction and remove excess fat from the abdomen, trim excess skin, and even tighten the muscle wall underneath the abdominal skin. By combining the benefits of liposuction for excess fat removal with the benefits of a tummy tuck (skin and muscle wall tightening), patients can achieve long-term, life-changing results.

When there is too much excess fat in the abdomen, tummy tuck results can be compromised. At the Denver Liposuction Specialty Clinic, we’ve developed a special protocol to remove excess fat using liposuction first, followed several months later with a tummy tuck. This combo procedure leads to excellent, lasting results.

The ideal candidate for a tummy tuck meets the following requirements:

  • Patient has excess, loose, or sagging abdominal skin.
  • Patient has a protruding abdomen that’s out of proportion with the rest of the body.
  • Patient has weakened abdominal muscles due to pregnancy or aging.
  • Patient has excess fat under the abdominal skin.
